I'm doomed. Good deeds will no longer save me. I just recently scored a thirty second bumper for the upcoming Fantastic Fest here in Austin. It was shot and edited by my friend Ben Bartley and he may need professional help (of course, that probably means I do as well).
The bumper he created is...how shall we say...a tad naughty. It involves three Barbie dolls and a Ken doll. I won't say anything more except that it is uproariously funny.
What makes it worse is that I incorporated into the music a collection of toys that I found in my son's toy box: an Elmo guitar, a squeeky toy, a cute caterpillar glockenspiel, a toy violin, a toy guitar from mexico, a lightsaber, and a drum.
As I write this, I just heard back from Ben and he LOVES it! Very cool. We're two twisted peas in a pod I guess.
I can't wait to see it during Fantastic Fest. It will be one of the highlight moments for me of the festival.
